I saw a video in which some characters of the Fallout tv show open a fridge and find an alien and just toss it out because they want the working fridge. I’ve never understood (or really bothered with) why Fallout had the nuclear “event” which triggered the use of the shelters. Was it an alien invasion?
I’m finally on Season 6 of Game of Thrones; still can’t remember dragon lady’s name, the old man knight has a crush on her, young sellsword has a crush on her, most of the Stark kids, most of the Night’s Watch.
What’s the point of watching it if you don’t remember any of the characters?
The girlfriend thinks it’s a good show, so I watch it with her. Arya, the Hound and the Imp are the only interesting characters, Sam is endearing. It’s entertaining watching Sansa gain some agency even though almost EVERYTHING is her fault, for lying for Joffrey because she wanted to be a queen.
I remember the characters, just not their names. I recognize the characters by their looks while they’re on-screen & by their voices if they’re not. But if they’re only mentioned, I can have trouble unless there is additional context or if they’ve appeared recently.
It’s also not like I can’t remember any names. I also have an easier time remembering a name if it’s a book instead of a tv series/movie, the name is interesting/otherwise memorable or if I’ve had enough exposure to it.
Khaleesi (dumb I know), Ser Jorah Mormont (honestly one of the best characters in the show imo), I don’t remember the merc, Rickon Bran and the youngest doesn’t really matter from what I remember. And the Night’s Watch doesn’t matter except for Sam and Jon.
Damn, I only watched up to season 6 myself and it’s been a few years since I last watched any of it.
Fallout has way, way fewer main characters than GoT did even at the very beginning. We follow three main characters in the wasteland: Lucy, Maximus, The Ghoul. Then there’s her brother Norm and the rest of Vaults 31-33, Ghoul’s wife Janie in the flashbacks, and Thaddeus who’s Max’s friend.
Yeah, Fallout is much easier.
Sam and Jon Snow are easy to remember because redhead says his name so much.
Khaleesi was a title, the wife of a Khal. I know her name starts with a D but she’s one of the most boring characters in the show.
