What complex codebase is maintained by unpaid volunteers.
Really why.
Not the same thing though one was abandoned code they no one is working on and the other is new code where they fuybcant grasp the release schedule. Also doesn’t seem like it has brought in new developers which was one of the reason it was brought in.
Don’t have to but get a better experience if pay for newsgroup access.
I hated postman so much I switched back to Docker. Why compose was better at handling dependent containers then quadlets. Yes I could use postman compose but heard it’s no longer supported and if I’m using it might as well use a supported docker compose.
Don’t do shit for money. It has always been that way.
No because people choose diss cause it’s free. I mean they might say other things but then the vast majority do not donate to anything. People are cheap and that’s why we are where we are with all the ads.
Never used their switches but their AP points are good. When I switched from Unifo to Omada the performance improvement was very noticeable. Better range better speed. This was awhile ago now so maybe they have gotten better.
Man the amount of work a bash script needs from a LLM and that is a pretty basic thing. Did it speed up the process I think it did but not really sure actually did it make it easier yes. Did I need some idea of what it was doing yes.
Except it won’t. And AI we’ll be pay to play
Six months don’t even give it a month. I don’t think most people want to admit how many kernel devs are paid devs. Nobody is doing all this work for free people need a home and food.
Yah ok the US is the most wealthy most powerful country in the world and they are not a serious country. Maybe the rest of the world should stop relying on America for everything. I really hope this starts tech sectors in other countries but somehow I don’t think it well. Besides China who is still reliant on American companies.
Yah sure the guys who are paid to contribute to Linux are going to leave.
Sure but tech has only existed during peaceful times. With the world splitting apart you can’t assume it we’ll be the same outcome.
Doesn’t free BSD not allow anyone with a Chinese or Russian sounding name already.
Sure for not but it we’ll go nowhere. Most of the kernel developers are paid developers it’s not somebody working on it in there free time.
They are not wrong though Taiwan isn’t a country. They have never declared independence their government has never officially given up their claim of being the rightful ruler of China. I have no idea why none of these have not been done.
Don’t know the decades of peace we have had is going to end sooner rather then latter. All the big countries are distancing themselves which is not good. When they where codependent on each other, times where stable. Now who knows it’s not going to be what we where used to though.
Sure go work somewhere else. Since it’s just the sanctioned companies.
You don’t even own the ones on disk you own a license to play the game.
