Agreed
I agree. On a new machine I’ve been using I tried Ubuntu and then Zorin, but Bazzite just works better. Could be the Fedora base that’s helping a lot, idk. But switching that machine over when I’m not lazy.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•I'm only an adult because I'm 40 but I feel like a child. Is anyone as lost as I feel now?
1·2 months agoI only got a house as the monthly was below that of rent. When I was renting, I read the richest man in Babylon book. Its a bit dated advice, but I combined that with the play yourself monthly mentally. What I mean is I set aside some money each month for me to spend on anything extra. New pants, go out to movies, whatever. This money can also carryover to allow for a larger purchase, like a phone.
Anyway, don’t look to others as an indicator to your life journey. Write your story and don’t stress.

linuxmemes@lemmy.world•I'm looking for a free OS, should it be Debian or Arch Linux(community)?
4·3 months agoI didn’t game, but use Bazzite. It has worked on every system I’ve installed it on, even an old AMD A6. I just feel safe in there, but it’s not perfect. And the distro is large.
I have been playing with Incus recently.
You can run Windows in vms on Linux if you don’t need screaming performance. I think you can directly install from iso with Incus as well. I haven’t find this yet, i used Qemu instead.
You could spin up a vm with mx and see how it works.

2·7 months agoI wanted to share that i was able to get my CD copies of SimCity and SimCity 3000 running on Linux using Lutris to run the installer and configure wine. I can’t believe that Linux has become the way to run old 16/32 bit applications originally designed for Windows. Love it

I tired to use zorin recently, but went back home to bazzite. Zorin felt like a skin on Ubuntu and didn’t give me the warm fuzzies inside. I’m sure its fine, but not for me 🙂.
