Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's the oldest video game you still find yourself playing?
1·3 months agoIt very good, more stable then original, sometimes the audio puts up a fight, but the last checkout I got worked great. I’ve pointed it at my steam copy and it even plays the music!

Is it really not written? I saw apt upgrade --update and knew the standard shortcut would be -u, but that didn’t work so I tried -U, bingo bongo off I went.
‘apt upgrade -U’
Heard of tuptime? I’ve been using it for a while now, I think I like it.

I don’t hate systemd, but I’ll all for having alternatives.
I have attention dilly dally, so virtual desktops are a huge help to stay on one task at a time.
It’s not dumb, stimulants are stimulants.

3·1 year agoPC upgrades, I was labouring along with my 15yo desktop for too long, one day I thought it was time to treat myself, it runs so much cooler and with less wasted power.

How about “farkle” to take another term from the motoring world?
I think the important bit people miss here is “was”, language changes, it was an insult, now it just means adding shiny stuff to your desktop.

If your sources track stable/testing or oldstable, you don’t need to change anything, that said I think the offical stance it to track the relase name (trixie bookworm etc)
