I self-host my own rustdesk server and it’s awesome. It just works flawlessly.

I’m almost to 10.00
So, once OS updates are unavailable, the machine might become a weak link from security standpoint or stop running some software.
That’s why I specified:
Double check before buying that it can be wiped and you can put Linux on it.
Yep, that’s what I started with. I had a 2014 Toshiba Chromebook with 16 GB storage and 2 GB memory.
It was my lil ssh/vnc machine for the longest time until the battery stopped working. I replaced it with a proper Thinkpad recently.
An old Chromebook sounds perfect.

Looks like most of those are 11.6". Double check before buying that it can be wiped and you can put Linux on it.
Considering that human diet can modify the metabolic rate and the release of different odor-related volatile metabolites (Havlicek & Lenochova, 2006; Ajibola et al., 2013; Baranska et al., 2013; Zuniga et al., 2017), it is not surprising that some foods and alcoholic beverages can have an impact on the release of kairomones. However, as shown in this section, the literature on these aspects is quite scarce and further studies on the effects of diet on susceptibility to mosquitoes are needed.
Reading the sections prior to that, it seems metabolic rate and some other factors matter more in the attraction of mosquitos - mostly odors and other stuff influenced by genetics.
I don’t believe this. My daughter and I get bit as soon as we step outside. My wife and son don’t even put on bug spray.
We all eat the same
I sent a PM.
Some questions:
Is it warm to the touch? How big is it? What is the shape? Color? Location? Is there exudate? Is it more dry or more moist than the surrounding skin? Is it elevated or depressed?
I’d advise against pinetime as a sports watch because it doesn’t accurately track mileage or pace. I’m looking to replace mine eventually with a Garmin or something.
Truffle oil and lightly salt it
the only chart I care about
I just got mine a few weeks ago and it’s so impressive. I bought it used for $150 and I can tell I’ll be using this for years.
I put that shit on everything
Debian 12
It’s just so good
The simplest way, if you want high quality:
Get a VPN (preferably one with port forwarding, like AirVPN)
Get qBittorrent and set the listening port to that forwarded port from your VPN host
Use the built-in search in qBit to find the stuff you want to watch
Open it in VLC
Ventoy can do windows installations as well
The 3 2 1 rule is always the gold standard.
I’d recommend at least adding an offsite backup. Set up rclone with a mounted folder (client side encryption is recommended) and sync the files to that as well.
I use Backblaze for about $6/TB/mo, pro-rated for whatever amount is actually used.
I absolutely despise the idea of “hidden” files. I don’t understand the purpose of not showing them.
a good starter distro but ideally you should make your own from scratch so you know what’s in it
There used to be a website called exitreviews.com but it redirects to looria.com now, which is an actual company and I can’t tell if there’s bias or not.
It used to be intended for reviewing any product (usually upon failure).
