Ironic that this post is in itself being toxic to people that enjoy the titles mentioned.

I enjoy cod and lol and even Fortnite but cannot play them on Linux. I’m sad that I can’t enjoy the things that I enjoy. I still play league on my MacBook but it’s annoying having to switch systems for one game. I would love to be able to play ** any ** game of my choosing and not be harassed about it.

Try getting help for trivial Linux issues and you have a 50/50 chance of having a Linux elitist eat you alive for not already knowing what they know. RTFM and scoffing.

Linux has the same toxic ratio of users that the games this post is pointing out.

For what it’s worth, I recently upgraded my mobo, cpu and ram. I used all the parts from my old rig hot swapped. Hard drives, GPU, etc. I’m using Cachy Linux.

Booted up fine no problems. Didn’t have to reimage/format.

You could always just swap them and if it works it works. Otherwise nuke and pave.

Curious. If you had no intention of buying the most expensive one, then what was the point of taking a spot in the reservation queue for it?

I’m not sure I understand the logic here. How would joining the queue for the $1500 give you the winning seat in the $1050 one?

But do you have the proper one selected as output? It might be going to your GPU or microphone.

Did you double check that you are outputting to the correct device?

Might have switched to an output you don’t have connected like HDMI or something.

The only thing missing from Arch distros is a clean gui for installing shit from the repos or AUR.

Octopi is cluttered and not very UX friendly imo.
