I also used to pronounce Gnome this way.

I’ll add I used to say “deb eye ann”, for Debian

And used to say “uh lie us”, for alias

I didn’t have a lot of people to talk about Linux with lol

  To be fair, Debian is a portmanteau of Debra and Ian so most people don’t pronounce it the way Ian Murdock intended.
