I was too young to watch V when I watched V

I liked the Windows XP wallpaper. That’s it.
Now is it Furry or fluffyboys?
LMDE, best of both worlds

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•If you are boycotting "America", does that include "American culture"?
11·3 months agoYes. Yes yes yes yes yes. I cut netflix and will not watch the end of Stranger Things, although I watched the first four seasons. Incidentally-not-coincidentally also because of Zionism on this one. Nor Avatar 3 currently in theatres while I saw the premieres of the first two. I operated a paradigm shift in my mind: despite all the good people in the US, fuck the American way of life forever. I am moving back to Korean polars for entertainment.
Edit: I will cherish my Jeff Buckley discography for life, but he’s long gone so there’s nothing new to boycott.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why are some antenna towers saucer shaped?
12·5 months agoIt seems this one was commissioned as an antenna tower, not repurposed (according to Wikipedia). Might just be an architect that found the shape cool and practical.
As a kid I saw this one in Paris, bigger and with offices inside, but with the same purpose (radio and TV antennas) https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tour_hertzienne_TDF_site_Romainville

Obvioulsy whoever set this minefield thought about this
