I use Taiga for tracking anime, and it can auto download torrents, my torrent client can auto add torrents downloaded by taiga. For airing stuff I don’t auto download things using taiga though, as it will usually take the first and best torrent it finds, so I opt to just check what’s foud and double click the matches when they are the right version.
I don’t think the title is that clickbaity, since it’s pointing out that there are places where Rust falls short. As with all tools, you should know when to not use them. If you know you will end up with a lot of unsafe code, then Rust may not be a good choice.
The TLDR doesn’t say it but the article specifically points out the problem is when trying to use mark-sweep garbage collection in the VM, and talks about the problems that arise when you are forced to use C-like writing to combat the Borrow Checker. Apart from the rewrite in Zig being able to iterate on experiences from the Rust version, I think the points made out were perfectly good arguments about why writing unsafe Rust is far from a good experience. I see that experience reflected in the choice done for the Roc standard library too.
If you’re so convinced you know best, I invite you to start writing your own filesystem. Go for it.

Norway has something similar, you own the inside usually and the HOA own the outside, including the houses themselves. Live in one, largely a good thing but some things come slow since they need to be voted for of course. Generally worth it, since you get good deals on things like internet. It’s cheaper but it’s also something you usually have to use and the only option. Eg only that provider of internet.
I’m my case, they are also responsible for my balanced ventilation, my exterior doors and my water heater. So when the time comes, they handle it. Shared costs cover snow plowing, the shared community building, upkeep of garage, outdoors and the buildings, and things like water bills and taxes paid. In particular, HOAs purchases do not need to pay a 2.5% of the purchase price fee when you purchase a home. This itself saves you quite a bit, and makes up for some of the extra you pay in monthly costs. (but pretty much all of those are at least going somewhere that benefit you anyways)
The downsides are, there are special rules so some people that have membership may have a right to take over the winning bid in a sale. I myself used this to purchase my place, having gotten 10 years of seniority in “HOA company”. You spend the seniority with your purchase, but also are not allowed to own more than one part. Also, no long term renting so there aren’t any companies buying and renting out and things like that. You have to live in the HOA.

Completely true, but also compression can make anything bad. I’ve seen 480p better 1080p simply because the 480p was using more bitrate, where the 1080p is encoded without enough relatively speaking.
Working on a blog(entirely for fun), found out the server backend, actix-web, does not handle early termination of a stream well. Wanted to stop an upload if the file size turned out to be too large, but you have to consume the entire upload before returning an error. If not the client will never see the connection close. I guess there is a way to check the size beforehand, but sucks that you can’t stop a stream in progress.
Apparently a long standing issue.

It’s worth adding I greatly prefer MS Auth style authentication, since I don’t have to find the right entry to read the Auth code and then write it on the other computer. Instead MS pops a notification and you either type or select the right number, verify with fingerprint and done. Much more convenient.
It often tells you what you login into and where you are attempt to log in from, so it’s a few extra layers of security for those that have that awareness to check those details.
Played a lot of rainbow six siege, where you have to shoot those 360° security cameras when you are attacking. So, now I’m trained to spot those on instinct.
My solution to most things, make it a chore.
Like, if you don’t buy it, you can’t drink it. If you have it, put it in an inconvenient place so you you won’t see it or bother getting it.
