I’m going to write a thing and its not wholly insulting but it sums up I think the public sentiment on KDE for the last 15 years: KDE is the “Windows Vista” flavor of desktop environment. I actually like the aesthetic but for some reason it fills everyone who doesn’t like it with an endless rage.

I never used to tell people to install linux but I’m now convinced the correct response to windows complaints is to salt the wounds of windows users.
