Holy fucking shit those graphs* are insane.

reading the changelog, it’s insane to see how much lemmy is changing for the better. You guys rock!
The two most* famous discord alternatives that I know are stoat and fluxer.
I’m the moderator of the fluxer community, you can check it here: !fluxer_app@lemmy.world

thank you! I now have a linux

The numbers are wild. In developer benchmarks, Dirt 3 went from 110.6 FPS to 860.7 FPS, which is an impressive 678% improvement. Resident Evil 2 jumped from 26 FPS to 77 FPS. Call of Juarez went from 99.8 FPS to 224.1 FPS. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands saw gains from 130 FPS to 360 FPS.
Holy fucking shit

ooh, I see. Seems too complicated.

I’m planning to switch from Manjaro to pure Arch, but I really like the easy setup Manjaro provides
Can’t you remove the specific Manjaro packages/configurations? I did this when I installed EndeavourOS, I removed ever endeavour-specific package and my “about system” shows “Arch” instead of “Endeavour” now.
I believe that this way you don’t have to lose any files.
bro 😭
I clicked on the post thinking “do we even care?” and this is the first comment I see
It’s currently at 8.27% on the gamingonlinux tracker: https://www.gamingonlinux.com/steam-tracker/
Currently on Arch.
Hell yeah, I’ll be a hot woman in no time.
Microsoft has been real quiet ever since this drip dropped.

I don’t know why it wouldn’t be possible.
Did you try installing it and see what happens? A BIOS with only UEFI shouldn’t be a problem.

So, in the end, the 28% targeting the steam deck are also targeting linux.
Thanks, Valve.

I’m laughing so hard at this. It’s like they’re beefing.
But I’ve been wanting to tell people that I use Arch.
Biblically accurate arch user

Jarvis, I’m low on karma. Make a quirky comment about windows 11.

Not my pain point, but my friend’s.
He recently installed linux mint to try, mainly because of the dubious quality of windows 11. After using it normally for many hours (maybe for 2 ~ 3 days), his system just froze, the audio entered a loop, and he was only able to shut the computer down pulling it from the plug.
I have no idea why this happens, this used to happen to me as well on arch, but then it just stopped (maybe some package update fixed it?).
I’ve seem people pointing to proprietary nvidia drivers causing it, but I never understood how the driver could freeze everything in the computer.
This is very true. A lot of us in the tech field underestimate the value of those small changes.
