I’m guessing 3d printing would be the way to go since you can prototype quickly. You can eventually make it out of other materials with molds and cnc machines. Fusion 360 is free if you get the hobby version, it’s my personal go to option but there is tinkercad and a few others as well.

Eugenics is mostly associated with selective breeding so that’s a no in that regard. I do think modifying our children genetically will become more common place and will be an important part of future off earth colonies.

Avoid anything that comes in plastic packaging and distill your own water. You will still need to drink normal water but I can’t imagine any municipality is currently equipped to deal with microplastic so reducing your intake is probably a good idea.

Short of moving somewhere very rural and growing all your own food, it is close to impossible.
