I looked into that, enterprise grade used mini pc would be good fit, but everything I’ve found has a TDP >15W, that is above my idea of a low power mini PC (as in consumming few electricity, keep the bill low…). For instance, Intel 9600T would draw at the minimum 25W and is rated for 35W.
It was quantum time, either you get the notification or not or both 🤭

Maybe I’ve been using Mint - Cinnamon for too long.
Need to get back and try KDE again, maybe OpenSUSE or something where KDE is 1st class citizen. Advices welcome 🤗

Linux@lemmy.ml•Which version of Windows would you compare the current state of Linux in 2025 to?
2·1 year agoMaybe that’s just me, but my games won’t run. Probably because of DRM or anti cheat I don’t know. Anyway I keep a windows computer for gaming and I wouldn’t want to.

Linux@lemmy.ml•I just distro hopped after using a distro almost a year. Is it normal?
10·1 year agoIt’s normal if you feel like it, don’t care about others opinions too much ;)
My opinion : far too many distros are « pet distros », a few are actually usable for servers, for desktop as a daily driver and do actual stuff instead of figuring out how to make things work/look pretty.

Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ@lemmy.dbzer0.com•looking for linux versions of games ?English
16·1 year agoThere are a few linux native games, with actually compiled for Linux binaries. Otherwise you’d better look at the WINE project and all that make many windows (as in win64) games runs on Linux.
