9 days agoA lot of this has to do with youtube blocking IP addresses. When it happens to me I change IP and it works again.
How have you installed the yt-dlp app? Through apt or with pip? You can probably get faster updates if you use pip.

2·29 days agoYou’re right. I just read the article not the release notes so I assumed they were shoving this in a software I really enjoy. Thought Id have to find a replacment.
Fair use of tech i don’t have a use for, i didn’t think of.

You are correct about me using a vpn to change my IP… I probably should been more descriptive.
