Yeah I have no idea what magic he cast.
Gentoo.
I had a friend SSH into my computer once I got it to the bare minimum for that by his instructions and he helped me install it. After that he did some kind of wizardry to have both Gentoo and SUSE both running at the same time without a VM!
See publishers? This is how you keep revenue. Quit killing games!
You should be drying up in a paper towel right now since I gave you up.
No this is better:
How am I supposed to keep my deck up on it’s kickstand with it plugged in at the bottom?
The bottom??? How am I supposed to set my deck up on it’s kickstand with anything plugged in?
Wouldn’t that be first party launchers?
This isn’t a drawing?
I play BO3 Zombies on Linux, and I do not pay money for that divinium.
No no no, it’s just when you realize you always were.
Oh yeah that’s better.
OP forgot the socks. Classic mistake.
Linux bros will absolutely support your stuff just for the sake of it, but we are not going to attend all of your events you don’t have time for while you’re being paid and we’re not. You think a dev/community manager isn’t worth paying, but the people who assemble things are? Way to devalue your core audience I.e. the people who value the principles your selling.
I know of a good specific example of a downside. I play SS14 on Steam Deck and musical instruments in it require midi support. This means I need to properly install FluidSynth, but I can’t. I can get the flat pack, but the game won’t recognize that it’s there because it’s looking in the wrong place.
This is why I’m going to install bazzite on my deck.
Also I’m that scenario, you know Valve only gave it up for something dramatically better.
