I’ve never been able to figure out how to use usenet. Do you have any suggestions on how to get started?

Audiobookshelf. I’ve started using it this year, and I’ve listened to it every day except for a single day since I started lol. Its amazing to keep track of my podcasts and audiobooks. My only complaint is the app doesn’t do autoplay for podcasts but headset media controls work, and the web client autoplays podcasts, but my media controls don’t work. Even with those minor complaints, its an amazing tool that I don’t know how I’d live without again.
Security Now is great for getting Tech/Security industry information explained in a way that’s fairly understandable even if you’re not immersed in it.
Bloons may have been ported to netflix, but the Bloons games release native on tons of platforms.
I’m only a few years older than you, but I agree. And I’ll also say that some (respectful) criticism at home is ok, and if I’m honest, should be expected.
We’re all not perfect and can’t expect to get nothing but praise or adoration from our partners, nor should it be expected of us. But all criticism should come from a place of love and respect; it’s not your partner against you about a problem, it’s you and your partner against a problem.
Healthy relationships require hard conversations like that, but no one deserves to be in a relationship where they can’t feel comfortable to be themselves without being attacked for it (with some obvious exceptions).
Some people’s bodies continue to grow well after their brain stopped developing.
The republicans have officially made impeachment a purely political performance, just like they’ve treated it for decades.
I think he spiraled for a good while after he broke up with his girlfriend. Seemed like about that time he went dark, but that could be related
I actually didn’t realize that KoR died because I gave up on him a few years before that when he and his wife put out that stupid video where they were denying they were doing click bait shit in a video with the same problem. It was just a bunch of whiney bullshit that showed he wasn’t what is signed up for anymore.
Was rather surprised a few years ago when I went to watch some random video and it was all new people. Still not very interesting.
You did the right thing. The only way in hell I would even consider having sex with a drunk/passed out person is if I had their full and enthusiastic consent received while stone cold sober. Intoxicated consent is not consent, and its a shame how our culture normalizes that shit or shames people into thinking that the only way they can do something with a ‘good conscience’. Which is funny, considering they’re intentionally putting themselves in a situation where they would then be taken advantage of instead of just talking about it like adults.
Always ask for fresh fries if you’re not in a hurry. If its a rush you don’t need to worry about it, but that guarantees you’ll get them crispy and as good as they’ll ever be…
the whole trilogy, it’s a damn masterpiece
An unpopular opinion from OP themselves.
I like the matrix series, but the two sequels are far from being masterpieces. The 2nd was a good action set piece, but the 3rd one got a bit up its own ass at times trying to fit all the exposition in with the action scenes.
I still haven’t finished it. So many stars are just unlikable and the pacing (of the half I saw) is just not enough to keep it entertaining enough to overcome the cringey ‘just look at how awful everyone in power is’ caricatures.
I’m also surprised that one of these threat-detection things people talk about wasn’t triggered when he was literally sending with “123456789” in most of the fields of a request.
Considering their systems allowed data return just because they got asked repeatedly, I’m not surprised at all. You’d be surprised the seemingly important metrics that don’t get monitored and reported on during day to day operations.
ISP security is clown shoes at times. I was reading a blog post of a dude who played with their ISP APIs and was able to make changes to his own router because authenticated API endpoints returned data unauthenticated multiple times because they could just send the same request multiple times until it returned data. They fixed it quick, but still …
Given the search summary of that one is “an antibiotic medication used as a last-resort treatment for multidrug-resistant Gram-negative infections”, that sounds very bad.
I have the opposite problem, my variables are sometimes too descriptive. I even annoy myself at times with VariableThatDoesThisOneThing and VariableThatDoesDifferentThing just because I want to be able to come back later and not wonder what I was smoking.
I keep meaning to look into CPWDCS, but my podcast backlog is ridiculous.
Behind the bastards is great, but don’t bother subscribing to ICHH, those get out into the feed weekly. I’m not a fan of the daily series (too hit and miss for me, and I have too many as it is), but the original season or two were good.
Other than that, I’ve been working on catching up to current on the dollop (us history) and staying current on Some More News (news/current events), Beau of the Fifth column (current events/analysis) and knowledge fight (mainly Alex Jones/InfoWars analysis and deconstruction). I’ll listen to In Retrospect (pop culture nostalgia analysis) or Security Now (tech news/concept breakdowns) or Risky Business (tech news) as I have time.
I’m ineligible to win the Darwin award.
Edit: huh, having kids doesn’t disqualify you.
