I just copy and paste things into the terminal until whatever I wanted is installed and running.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Lawyers what are some of the most ridiculous arguments you've heard in the courtroom?
4·1 year agoThat’s basically just proving the “Involuntary” part.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•If you could choose who was president who would it be?
81·2 years agoSometimes I wonder if he would actually be a good choice, considering he doesn’t have a history in politics. And then I remember how Trump just kinda decided he was gonna be president with no political background.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•How can I repair these dents my Ikea couch has been making in my hardwood floor?
7·2 years agoI’m not an expert but:
Resurfacing might fix this if it is solid hardwood, since you are essentially sanding down a layer and refinishing the new top layer. The dents look kind of deep, though, and may require extra sanding to take the wood down far enough.

3·2 years agoI’m still waiting on my Soundband headphones.
We have a big maple in our yard and more through the neighborhood. The sound of wind running through their leaves is very calming.
Another reason why I’m glad I made the switch to Lemmy.
I always thought this one was pretty… WEIRD…

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What has been the worst church service you have ever attended?
29·2 years agoBeing a kid with ADHD, all of them. Each and every service drove me to the brink of insanity. I stopped going once I was old enough to decide for myself.

381·2 years agoEvery day, my work computers force a shutdown-update, take 20 minites, fail the update, recover from the failed update, and then force a 24-hour timer to do it again that I can’t turn off. IT doesn’t care.

I just got Vampire Crawlers specifically to play on my Steam Deck while relaxing in bed. I really liked Vampire Survivor on it, and this game is a great follow-up. I’d recommend it to anybody who likes other card games like Slay the Spire.
