Funny I use KDE on NixOS because it’s the only OS where it doesn’t freeze my whole system up and I have to force reboot. (issue caused by AX210 Intel driver)

Great I wonder when will it be available in Nixos unstable

As long as the title is in line with tfe videos content I don’t mind but whenever I see the word “slams” it grinds my gears

I choose my distro based on if KDE will crash or not.

So far on my hardware only NixOS has not got that issue out of the box.

I get the sentiment but that is in no fashion a way to move forward.

I haven’t slept in 24hrs and honestly I don’t get the hate. Just use gnome default and it works that’s it. no need to customise just use as is and doesn’t break.

Yeah an OS from Asus would probably just blow up. Even on Android they basically keep it close to AOSP with only a function here and there.

but they already do for their buggy ass apps like armory crate. I think that they are afraid to commit ressources for an OS that is barely used on desktop.

that’s not relevant here although It would be even more successful without snaps imo

Correct me if I’m wrong but Ubuntu is the mostly used Linux desktop OS out there so I wouldn’t call it unsuccessful.
