CeraVe is the only skin-care company afaik whose products are developed by dermatologists, and are consistently highly rated by dermatologists. They have good scentless moisturizers, lotions with sunscreen, retinol, shampoos, conditioners, and wash bar(soap alternative).
The strangest person I’ve ever met was homeschooled, it was a really sad case. He was an only child home-schooled by fundamentalist christian parents, and didn’t have much interaction with peers his age until he was in college. Zebulon (yes that was his name) could not hold a simple conversation, and clearly had less education than most grade-schoolers. Talking to him was worse than talking to a child, he would babble or ignore everything you said and change the subject completely. I hope he’s overcome that and is doing better now.
It should be illegal or heavily restricted, as it is in many countries already.
- The kid doesn’t get what’s easily the most important aspect of school (even more important than the curriculum), socialization.
- The kid gets an education from someone who likely has no qualifications whatsoever, and is more than likely homeschooling for fundamentalist religious reasons.

In western capitalist dictatorships, “centrism” means an acceptance and non-opposition to the status quo of capitalist rule, liberalism, and landlordism.
Any opposition to poverty, homelessness, hunger, or rule by capitalists, is deemed “radical”, and outside of respectable discourse, even though these should be just a baseline of human decency.

The only way to make microblogging tolerable, IMO is to follow “topic-based” accounts. I might be interested in what a person thinks about a topic, but I’m not interested in what food they ate that day.
There’s also the issue of overwhelming feeds: not everyone can be a celebrity, and there’s a limit to the number of people we can hold in our heads and follow, before our entire day is wrecked. I can’t use most microblogging because its just too overwhelming, and I don’t care about celebrities outside of a few writers or academics.

Bullies target the defenseless, and always pick weak targets. So unarmed protestors who pose no threat, are going to get attacked far quicker than an armed and disciplined group.
But unfortunately US cops can kill anyone with impunity so no one is safe even if they do defend themselves.

US Liberals are still doing it to this day. One of their heroes, Obama, dropped an average of 80 bombs per day on the ME and North Africa.
