“Books were only one type of receptacle where we stored a lot of things we were afraid we might forget. There is nothing magical in them, at all. The magic is only in what books say, how they stitched the patches of the universe together into one garment for us.” Professor Faber

I always carry 2 items on me; a sharpie and pretty butterfly stickers.
Sharpie is kind of obvious. I use it to write phrases on places where people will see them. Just last night, I saw a “trump is a pedo” on an electric box, that one wasn’t me.
There were a few incidents of antisemitism, Islamophobia, and other hateful stuff in my area. I saw a sticker on the back of a stop sign that said “reject woke nonsense”, so I bought pretty butterfly stickers to cover things like that. I try to cover that kind of hate with something beautiful.

I do that too. I buy a bag after Halloween at a deep discount, then it lasts me a couple of months. I even like it a little stale.

World of Warcraft, but to be fair, it’s just about the only game I really play. I dabble in a few others on Steam, but I always end up back in wow.
I bought a Nintendo 3DS this year and I’ve been trying to play that more but my books are so distracting lol
I literally had this reaction from a someone recently. I commented that I had trouble installing a specific program, so I switched back to windows for now. I was not looking for advice, it was just a post asking about recent Windows user’s experience switching to Linux, so I shared my experience and that I had the intention to try again because I want off Windows.
Dude commented like I’m just a dumb dumb who didn’t follow the numerous instructions online (I did) because it’s so easy to install on Linux (doesn’t change my issue) that their mom could do it (again, still doesn’t change that I had issues).
I’ll be trying again soon, but I can understand why some folks would be turned off of Linux because of that.
