OP, are you okay? You’re not making sense.

I assume by “being an introvert” you mean you have social anxiety. If so, start out by looking for things you need online, followed by your location. Many local businesses will have some kind of online presence, or at least a Facebook page. Check what businesses those pages follow or interact with. At least that way you’ll gain some background.
Buying local is ideally going to be a more social experience. You will start having to seek out local markets and meeting the people who provide their goods and services. You’ll also find it easier once you visit local places For example, the local brewery here hosts markets. Local supermarkets buy food from (relatively large) local farms. Smaller local farms work directly with local restaurants. It’s all interconnected.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•what's the best solution to take a portfolio with clipboard with you when your hands are full moving a cart from point a to b?
2·2 months agoAnother idea is to Velcro one of those wall mount inbox paper holders to the side, so you could just slide the clipboard in and out without having to align Velcro or pulling the cart with the board.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Have you ever traveled outside of America? (Not to Canada or Mexico)
2·3 months agoI wouldn’t say it’s normal behavior in the US, but it certainly is more common than what you have probably seen in American tourists in SEA. As far as being “upfront”, there is that stereotype compared to some other cultures. In his case though he was just being a dick.

31·3 months agoI think OP was saying that traveling opens your mind to new thoughts, not that people don’t travel because their thinking is limited.
New to Linux, what’s the fresh install process like? I understand the actual installation, but curious about the workflow of backing up, reconfiguring, etc.
