The main problem with Witcher 3 is that it’s way too long. Was a real slog to reach the ending. Didn’t even bother with the addons. Cyberpunk was great in my opinion.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is the biggest non-English community on the Fediverse?
3·8 days agoLa más grande que conozco es !chile@feddit.cl
Thing is that we dont have any information about someone who visits joinlemmy, other than the IP address which gives the location, and Accept-Language HTTP headers. So it attempts to give useful suggestions with that limited info.

There are multiple defaults on https://join-lemmy.org/
Its already solved, you get an automatic instance suggestion here: https://join-lemmy.org/

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Would you say learning a programming language is easier or harder than learning a natural language?

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's the oldest video game you still find yourself playing?
2·4 months agoYes that’s the charme of it, just like the player character you are thrown into this strange, brutal world and have to figure out how to survive. The beginning is difficult, but that makes it all the more satisfying later in the game when you actually become powerful.
Regarding mods, you should definitely get one for improved inventory, and there’s also a DirectX 11 mod for better graphics.

5·4 months agoGothic 1 and 2 (from 2001 and 2002 respectively) are still some of the best games I ever played. There is also a very active modding community, and some mods are even much better than the original game.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What happened with Syncthing-Fork and is it safe to use now?
8·4 months agoThe devs for desktop Syncthing were different from the Syncthing-Android devs. There was some collaboration but in the end the development was mostly separate. Source: I made syncthing-android.
Yes this will be part of Lemmy 1.0 (its already implemented).
The change only affects posts which were deleted by the creator and have at least one comment. If the post was removed by a mod or admin the behaviour remains unchanged, and only the creator as well as mods/admins can view it.
For comments there is no change. For posts, if you delete a post which has no comments it wont be visible to anyone else. If it has comments and you delete the post, then it will only be accessible by direct link but not via post listings on the community page or frontpage.
This will be partially addressed in Lemmy 1.0 by making deleted posts and their comments viewable, but only by direct link (not via post listings).
We always dream, but usually we cant remember the dreams. It helps to keep a dream journal, ie every morning directly after waking up, write down as much as you remember from last nights dreams (or instead talk about it with someone). Over time you will remember more and more details.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Is there still any question that has a possible, articulable answer that has still evaded you that you've asked Lemmy about already?
1·6 months agoSounds like an adoption of this bible text. Basically a version of karma.
“Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him. “For all who draw the sword will die by the sword.”

Gazaflags in Spain.Edit: Palestine flags of course.
This is my second baby, the first one is three years old. So in my experience it’s much more fun once the child can go to the playground, starts to talk and gradually learns to do things independently. Though there are also difficulties, and of course every child is different.
Twinkle twinkle little star. It’s neat because there are versions in almost every language.

Oh yes bought it on release because of all the hype. Then stopped playing after two hours because it was so boring and generic.
