How does a general purpose distro like Bazzite compare to Windows/Steam OS on the Legion?
As an Emudeck user I really wanted to give RetroDECK an honest whirl, but upon finding they depreciated Ryujinx despite there being a repo that continues with updates… Killed it for me.
Meanwhile EmuDECK supports configs for both Ryujinx & Citron.
I was not expecting this kind of subject matter expertise when coming to the comments.
TBH the front looks fine to me, though there’s a strong likelihood of accidentally touching the touchpads while using the thumb sticks.
What I’m glad they fixed up are the back/grip buttons, as this prototype is “push” only, where as I almost exclusively use them as “squeeze”. These are missing the L-shape where the button is built in to not just the back plate, but also the inside of the hand grip.
Stealing food from spiders? Not cool man! Stick with candy from babies.
Is there a way to use this in a more automated way instead of copying and pasting each time?
I see the window controls (close, maximize, minimize) on your music player, but not on the other windows (file manager, console, etc). I also don’t see them in your top bar. Where they at?
From what I recall, I thought the RE (VII) Engine and everything that used it was used in was remarkably well scaling? After all MH Rise and RE VIII ended up on Switch.
For those that use Retro Deck and it’s prepacked emulator approach… What happens when an emulator is killed (a la Yuzu)? Do you lose access to that emulator in Retro Deck (i.e. is it removed with the next Retro Deck update?)
EmuDeck’s approach allows for emulators that are installed to persist after their death - they just removed the ability to select them for download going forward.
The small horse is just getting a good sniff, and no feet isn’t unsettling.
Those front hooves scare me
I had no idea that Teksavvy passed these along. I thought they took a stance to ignore these.
This has been the main thing holding me back from purchasing a framework laptop
Ugh, knife to my heart
Played a lot of kids friendly games this last year (getting my daughter in to games) so many were surprising to me.
But of the games, she kept coming back to Alba’s Adventure - so that one racked up the play time.
My personal game that racked up the most time was Legend of Zelda, Echoes of Wisdom. After that, Judero.
Thanks for the question - I value the ease of configuring SOCKS5 directly in an application. As you mentioned, WireGuard split tunneling can be done with a bit more work - which is knowledge I don’t have at the moment and will take time to acquire.
My ISP is not proactive in deep scanning my traffic, so SOCKS5 has been entirely sufficient in in covering me against copyright notices for the past years.
I have Gluetun ready to go for for my torrent program on my server that I can better seed, but on my workstation I’m typically not running a VPN - and the odd time I might fire up a torrent program it is nice to have the proxy settings baked in to the application in case I forget to or don’t care to toggle the VPN on.
