I often used this site to download flac songs that I was unable to find on SLSK or other torrents. Is there an alternative to this site that anyone knows of. It will be missed.

Just want to point out that you can download audio from a Youtube video using yt-dlp and the following options:
-x, --extract-audio Convert video files to audio-only files (requires ffmpeg and ffprobe) --audio-format FORMAT Format to convert the audio to when -x is used. (currently supported: best (default), aac, alac, flac, m4a, mp3, opus, vorbis, wav). You can specify multiple rules using similar syntax as --remux-video --audio-quality QUALITY Specify ffmpeg audio quality to use when converting the audio with -x. Insert a value between 0 (best) and 10 (worst) for VBR or a specific bitrate like 128K (default 5)You might have to use a tool to re-do the tags, but that’s pretty easy to do. Edit: also want to point out that yt-dlp also works with a number of other sites besides Youtube.
Youtube Audio sounds like crap tho
This is a method I use regularly but I don’t think you’re going to obtain any lossless content from youtube.
If you’re on Linux try zotify, amazingly easy to use, straight from the source, and fast!
Quick disclaimer: some people report their accounts being banned, but I have personally downloaded 6500+ songs and I have been fine as well as plenty of others with similar numbers. If you want to play it safe, you can download really slowly at 1x speed and Spotify can’t tell the difference between downloading and playing media.
That’s not gonna help if he’s looking for hard to find track as flacs though.
