Finished series and runs are nicely archived as packages often, but figuring out the search terms and issues over Annas Archive seems like nightmare level confusing. Since there are so many issues and multiple runs etc.

Are there more organized indexes or feeds to follow or should I just find official issue lists and search by one by one?

It used to be good. It used to be just Tachiyomi + comic source plugin. You open the source entry, look for the comic series, subscribe, and it automatically updates.

Now Tachiyomi is killed and its forks multiplied. Most of the source websites have also been killed. The source plugin list repo (keiyoshi) is… idk, abandoned?

If somebody can point me some good not-dead [manga] sources that’d be great.

EDIT: It wouldn’t be reddit-like without the dogpiling, so here’s to clarify my FEELINGS about keiyoshi:

    • I FEEL like keiyoshi is like the single point of failure in the chain right now. I haven’t heard of any other fork or mirror of this one repo
    • The repo is filling up with non-working source plugins as the source websites go down. If the maintainer is doing housecleaning on it I certainly don’t feel the effects as none of the tachiyomi forks that I know of tells me when a plugin is removed from the repo let alone helps me clean up. Now I have a bunch of plugins that don’t work (again because the websites are dead) so god help me.

Mihon is the main current fork, and keiyoshi is still getting regular updates? Idk why you would say its dead, I just updated 4 extensions off of it.

Can’t help with what’s good for comics, but for manga/manhua weebcentral and mangafire tend to have most everything.

Mihon and several forks are still actively developed and both extension repos, one of which being Keiyoshi, are also still actively maintained. Where are you getting your information? Might want to stop listening to whoever is telling you this.

For OP: you could try something like xoxocomic. I haven’t gone through their library extensively so I’m not sure how much of what you’re looking for they’ll have
