1.100 is looking to be an interesting release, with the allocator api and never type (and dependency cooldowns in Cargo). Which is kind of nice for a round number release.

Pretty interesting! This has been unstable since forever and, while it is mostly useful in more niche scenarios, it’s a great addition to stable Rust.
Yeah, it was supposedly “almost done” 9 years ago, but I get it, they found a lot of edge cases.
