Sorry, my bad. 0,36$ per million class b operations. Of course there will be slightly more operations than downloads (e.g. people/bots sarting downloads and aborting them), but still probably cheap.

Should be manageable and it is probably less than you would imagine. Just checked real quick: the isos load from download.bazzite.gg, which is a Cloudflare IP. So they are either using it as CDN or even more likely use Cloudflares R2 storage for isos - which would mean they pay for storage (~15$/TB) and operations, but not for egress. This is seems ideal for few but huge files.
So for a single iso (~7 GB) they would pay 0,105$ for storage monthly and additionally 0,36$ per million of class B operations (reads/downloads). Of course they host more than one ISO, but for this example it would have been downloaded about ~150000 times to reach the petabyte.
So yeah, the ISO download is probably less of a problem. (Disclaimer: lot of assumptions, check in with a bazzite dev for clarity)
I just got attached to Typewise (despite not being Open Source sadly). It is one of few apps, where I bought an expensive lifetime option.

And since we aren’t in the self hosting community: You can also pay pikapods to host it for you: https://www.pikapods.com/apps#notes
(That being said, I personally prefer Obisidian with Git Sync)

is easier to automate for things like providing bots with changed social media credentials
Tbh, sounds a bit like a cursed use case for a password manager, but I am curious how you set that up.

There has to be 1. way around it. Any 1. If only we could figure out 1. way. There has to be 1 way.

AI empathy feels less like compassion and more like getting hugged by an overly polite parrot with a memory glitch.

Numbers instead of names mostly, for all kinds.of software. I get confused with names🥲

Honestly, no clue, but in my career the answer why something beneficial hasn’t been done is usually “backwards compatibility”.

Very much depends ob the game. Online games? Most likely not. Offline games like No Mans Sky or Sims? Sure, that is possible.
dish washer to sterilize jars for canning
Household Dishwashers do not sterilise, they only sanitise at best (with a 65° (150°F)). For sterilisation of all microorganisms including spores they would need to heat up to 120°C (250°F) for several minutes.
That being said you most likely breath in your own poop particles all the time, so sanitation may be enough.

Thanks, I too thought about the worst cooking software ever😂

Voyager (on Android)
I tried multiple and that is what stuck. Thats it.

Every mail can be disposable😉
Had a similiar issue but with an external hard drive and a bluetooth mouse. When the drive was idle everything was fine, but when IO was happening the pointer got really laggy. Anyway I’ve added some distance between the bluetooth receiver and the drive cable.
I came out as gay with like 22. First to my mother who was immediately concerned that she won’t get grand children. I have brothers and they provided grand children. Nowadays my mom also loves my boyfriends, so she is happy as a clam.
My dad just hugged me, drank his whiskey and let me cry for a bit in his arms.
Well better get away from PCs then, as Alan Turing was gay and basically the father of theoretical computer science. Maybe go touch some grass or something😉

Not really, no. These are application flaws. Caddy will happily do its job and just let bad actors abuse them. (Unless you mean mTLS certs, then Caddy would only respond to those having a client certificate, which hopefully reduces the number of bad actors to your users😉)
And even they are starting to work better now. Running a 4070 SuTi here without major issues myself.
Once you get used to it, it is pretty ideal for typing with both thumbs. The core principle is that the buttons are bigger and less used buttons are placed further outward from the center and at the bottom.
(In this example I’ve highlighed all letters from the bottom 2 rows which are slower to type due to thumb movement. Keep in mind that I am using a german layout for english text, the other layouts place some letters differently.)
It is also great because it causes visible confusion to people seeing my screen or even worse wanting to type something on it.
But most importantly: it works for me. Back when I switched to Typewise open source keyboards did not have swiping (or it wasnt great). And the default keyboard layout is not great for typing with my fat thumbs. Typewise worked so well for me that I do not miss swiping at all. Of course it is a matter of preference.
