This is what I did and I absolutely love the thing! It’s so much faster than any other flash drive for file transfers. I think it’s a USB 3.1 Gen 2/SuperSpeed USB 10 Gbps enclosure

1·1 year agoSeason 2 of The Rehearsal is already my favorite Nathan Fielder project. S02E03 is totally unhinged
I would tack on shitty drivers in general. People driving in the shoulder just bc they’re in a hurry or think they’re important, not using turn signals, not letting people merge, being distracted using their phone, weaving through traffic at high speed; things got way worse during the pandemic and they haven’t at all improved at least as far as I can tell.
I tried endeavourOS, Garuda, pure arch, all with newest KDE plasma and automatically or manually installing NVIDIA drivers, games work, but I have never been able to get resume from sleep or hibernation working. I have a GTX 1080 ti. I’ve tried everything I can find in forums but nothing has worked
Yeah I saw that when I tried looking for it when I commented a few minutes ago - so sad!! 😭

Haha thnx, that was my intent. I chose my wording carefully!
You’ve never met someone whose personality you find off-putting, but whose physicality you find super attractive? If the two of you had sex, you could be rougher and more sexually self-serving than you would be with someone you love, since you don’t really care about the person’s thoughts or feelings. The two of you can both release some of your hate for each other by incorporating mild aggression into the act.

2·1 year agoI still haven’t been able to get wake from sleep working in distros with Wayland on my PC with an NVIDIA GPU. Tried in EndeavourOS and Garuda. It crashes trying to wake from sleep every time. I’ve tried everything in the arch wiki and search engine results like modifying config files and whatnot, no dice.

Yeah if they could find a way to shave even 30-50 grams that would make a big difference
This reads like a modern day SysAdmin Rube Goldberg machine; I love it
Lmao that community is hilarious - it’s all the most blatantly biased low-brow cheap shots about Linux I’ve ever seen and is just being spammed by 1-2 haters all the time 🤣

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•People who tried La Croix, what is your opinion on it?English
3·1 year agoYes! I bought one of these and run it right to the tank without a regulator. I close the tank after every use. Currently I swap the tank at a local liquor shop, but there’s a welding supply place I will likely switch to in the future to get a better price.
Supposedly you can refill the smaller cylinder tanks but I think this is easier

Great vid! I would’ve greatly appreciated watching this if I were new to Linux. It sounds like my Linux journey has been similar to the person in the video’s. I’m satisfied with Arch but am currently dipping my toes in Gentoo and NixOS
