Instead, they would rather use Monero. The only people buying and selling Bitcoin are people who want to gamble on it getting higher

I do get your sentiment but discord has its place. It’s nice for quick messaging. Forums are for well thought out discussions. Discord is where you would shitpost, have offtopic channels, link weird videos and memes in a quick and fast way.
