Right now you’re experiencing some degree of culture shock so that’s going to take ~6 months before that is fully settled. “This is weird.” “Yes, that’s something people experience in a variety of contexts”.

But outside of that in the long run you really have to think about what’s important to you and carve out time for that or you will be lonely and miserable. Something with regularity. I play board games with friends once a week. Sometimes I can’t make it and they do it without me. But there’s still way too much of my time that ends up being me staring at Lemmy or the TV, thinking that I really should <some chore>. And you can end up like that whether you are single or in a relationship. School was simpler.

There’s culture shock and then hopefully you settle into the idea that this is your life now.

I think you should be able to do a USB drive boot of the distro you are interested in and check whether you can get all these things working? It’ll run slow though so don’t be scared of performance is less than you were hoping for. It’ll be much better in the install.

More verbose happens to every translation. Because the original text could choose to communicate things in a way that works with that language but every translation has to include all the information in the original version.

I feel like there are fewer players. Like fewer requests to enter world. But I don’t know for sure. Lots of stuff I really, really liked in Fontaine. Less so in Natlan.

They’ve done a lot of quality of life additions recently (with so many characters it’s nice to get a bit of help building them) but they lost the music guy and they must have lost a character designer as well because a lot of the Natlan designs and some of the Fontaine designs are bad.

The “make a relic” is more expensive than in other Hoyo games but you also get a couple of sub-stats.

I did not enjoy her play style in the demo and archon quest. How about you?
