Omg these stupid posts are plaguing Lemmy now

This doesn’t mean Fedora will not boot from DVDs anymore, it means any optical media bug won’t stop new Fedora release, any related bug will be squashed like any other regular bug after release

I installed AdGuard Home (pihole alike) and blocked all Google then my deck wasn’t able to sync my game saves, I had to allowlist steam.googlecloudsomethingsomething in order for cloud saves to work

On the Steam Deck there is Google too, there is the sponsored Chrome install and cloud saves uses Google servers

Thank you all for your input @LeFantome@programming.dev @LiveLM@lemmy.zip @terminhell@lemmy.dbzer0.com @Auli@lemmy.ca
Laptop got a SSD and SMART OK
So I burned at the lowest speed Fedora Vauxite and Rescuezilla and they worked fine. Burned Fedora Silverblue many times testing at the lowest speed, other burning app, other DVD burner and same problem. So it could be the ISO but why?
Gotta do further testing but I have to buy a DVDRW to stop wasting so many DVD’s and prolly consult with the Fedora forum
The Anaconda installer suggests workarounds, gotta test them later

Got an old laptop with bluray drive and a newly bought USB bluray burner, both same issue
WTF are they trying to get rid of LCD stock? Is it still being manufactured?
