Gnome on surface pro 4.

Finally have a fantastic setup for my surface to act as a tablet. the extension Touchup is doing some heavy lifting for usability. apps are: files, Riff, Librewolf, Voyager. Heres more screenshots.

Edit: i forgot to show some portrait screenshots! Ill grab some when i get a min!

some essential extensions.Touchup has been a gamechanger.

stock gnome files. It works well.

    i used to run a heavily customized GNOME, but the frustration of plugins sometimes taking weeks to update to new versions eventually made me return to a very vanilla environment. Even more annoying was when plugins would get abandoned and just stop updating to new versions. The game of plugin roulette every update was just too much

        i wish GNOME had an API for extensions: you’d loose a little flexibility but it would save extension developers a ton of effort keeping things working

      no idea what that means. this version of ultramarine is built specifically for surface devices and uses the Linux-surface kernel.
